Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - OB/GYN

Location: Juneau, Alaska
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Minimum Years Experience: Less than 1 year
State License Details: Must be currently active in Alaska
Shift: Days - Monday to Friday
Certifications: BLS/BCLS
Weekly Rate: $3,333 (40 guaranteed hours per week)

Position Summary:

As a Travel RN in OB/GYN, you'll play a crucial role in providing clinical services and assisting patients within the outpatient department. Your responsibilities will include ensuring excellent quality of care, efficient clinic operation, and compliance with SEARHC standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with providers and clinic staff to deliver exceptional patient care in the ambulatory care setting.

Accountabilities:

• Provide clinical services and leadership to ensure efficient operation of the clinic.
• Oversee medication inventory and supplies, including quality control checks for Point of Care tests.
• Assist providers and staff, anticipating their needs to ensure efficient and quality patient care.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to be a valuable resource for patients, providers, and fellow clinic staff.

Position Complexities:

• Maintain skill sets, certifications, and participate in educational programs within the clinic, hospital, and community.
• Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Address employee concerns and resolve issues in accordance with Human Resources Policy.

Position Qualifications:

Education:

• Education necessary to obtain an RN License

License and Certifications:

• Active nursing license in Alaska
• Basic Life Support certification

Experience:

• 1 year of acute care experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of nursing process and customer service principles
• Skilled in assessments, use of equipment, and effective communication
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
