Position Summary:
As a Registered Nurse you will play a crucial role inproviding compassionate and high-quality patient care. Working collaborativelywith a multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluatepatient care within the unit. Your responsibilities will include monitoringpatient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating withphysicians to develop and implement care plans. Exceptional communication andcritical thinking skills are essential to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Status:
Full time 36 or 40 hr/week
Long term
8, 10 or 12 hr shifts depending on facility and unit
Key Responsibilities:
Conductcomprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Administermedications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
Monitor andinterpret patient vital signs, recognizing and responding to changes promptly.
Recognizechanges in patient status and take appropriate interventions
Collaborate withphysicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Provideeducation and support to patients and their families.
Maintainaccurate and up-to-date patient records.
Requirements:
Current Canadianpassport, USA passport or Green Card
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Canada or USA
Current VisaScreen Certificate (apply at www.cgfns.org)
Passed NCLEX-RN
Bachelor ofScience in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
BLS
ACLS, NRP, EFM, TNCC,ECG certs depending on unit
Minimum 1 yearof current clinical nursing experience on the unit for which you are applying
Stronginterpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to workcollaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
