Registered Nurse (RN) - CVICU
St. Louis, Missouri / Mercy Hospital / Night shift / Cardiac/Medical ICU
13 Weeks / 12-hour shifts / 3 shifts per week
In this role Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for the care of patients who are experiencing heart problems. RN will monitor their patients' vital signs and symptoms, administer treatments as ordered by a physician, and provide emotional support to both patient and their family members. Registered Nurse (RN) will provide strong critical thinking skills to assess complex situations and make informed decisions. RN will perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy Service Standards.

Must have current RN License
BLS Certification
ACLS Certification

Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
- Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care.
- Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
- Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
- Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
