Shift: 3x12s - 36hrs - Nights

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medsurg Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in Raeford, NC. As an integral member of the Medical Surgical department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals experiencing various medical, surgical, and orthopedic conditions. Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established policies, protocols, physician orders, and evidence-based practices
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide wound care as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Assist patients and their families in understanding diagnoses, treatment plans, and medications
• Coordinate and advocate for necessary interventions, tests, and procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina, USA
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, but not required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medsurg nursing or related field
• Proficient in conducting comprehensive patient assessments and providing direct patient care
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in fast-paced environments
• Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, excellence in nursing practice, and continuous quality improvement
