Travel Radiologic Technologist/X-Ray Technician Job

Sunbelt Staffing is looking to help a facility out in Kansas City, Kansas. We are looking for an experienced MRI Tech with at least 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.

Qualifications:

1. Education:

   • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
   • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.

2. Licensure:

   • State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.

3. Experience:

   • Previous experience as an X-Ray Technician is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level positions.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform Radiographic Procedures:

   • Operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images of patients.
   • Position patients appropriately and use radiation protection devices to ensure safety.

2. Patient Care:

   • Explain procedures to patients, ensuring they are comfortable and informed.
   • Position patients accurately for imaging procedures and provide appropriate shielding to protect unaffected areas.

3. Equipment Maintenance:

   • Perform routine maintenance on X-ray equipment to ensure proper functionality.
   • Report equipment malfunctions promptly and assist in coordinating repairs.
