```Duties```
- Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients according to prescribed treatment plans
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, including linear accelerators and CT simulators
- Position patients accurately for treatment delivery using immobilization devices and imaging techniques
- Monitor patients during treatment to ensure safety and comfort
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
- Document patient information, treatment details, and any adverse reactions or side effects
- Provide patient education on radiation therapy procedures and potential side effects
```Requirements```
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field
- Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- State licensure as a Radiation Therapist
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging techniques
- Experience with CT simulation and treatment planning systems
- Knowledge of radiation therapy techniques, including external beam radiation therapy and brachytherapy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in acute care or critical care settings
- Knowledge of mammography procedures
