Travel Progressive Care Unit (Pcu) Nurse Job

Sunbelt is looking for an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurseinterested in a travel assignment in Decatur, Georgia.

Qufications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required.
• Progressive Care Nurse Certification (PCCN) or willingness to obtain
• CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions, monitoring vital signs and symptoms, and promptly reporting any changes to the medical team.

2. Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, ensuring accurate dosage and patient safety.

3. Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.

4. IV Management: Initiate and manage intravenous lines, including administering fluids and medications as prescribed.
