Travel Evs Housekeeper

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented EVS Housekeeper to join our team. As an EVS Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facilities, particularly focusing on environmental services related to healthcare settings. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for our patients, staff, and visitors. This is travel role. Travel to site is paid for, hotel is paid for. This is for a potential labor dispute

Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning duties in accordance with established procedures, protocols, and safety guidelines.
• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, public areas, offices, and other designated areas.
• Dispose of waste and hazardous materials properly and in accordance with regulations.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals effectively and safely.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues.
• Follow infection control policies to prevent the spread of infections.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve cleanliness and sanitation goals.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect patients' privacy and dignity.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in environmental services or housekeeping, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Understanding and adherence to safety and infection control protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Environmental Services or related field.
• Knowledge of EVS standards and regulations in healthcare settings.
• Experience with floor care, including carpet cleaning, stripping, and waxing.
• Familiarity with electronic inventory management systems.

Job Types: Contract, Temporary, Per diem

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 60 – 84 per week
