This contract allows you to utilize your expertise in various diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including general, vascular, and OB/GYN, contributing significantly to patient care in a dynamic environment. Qufications:

• Registered or registry-eligible with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
• IL licensure required
• Associate or bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in diagnostic ultrasound is preferred, with experience in general, vascular, and OB/GYN procedures
• Proficiency with GE and Philips ultrasound equipment
• EPIC EMR
• Strong technical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to patient care are essential

Responsibilities:

1. Ultrasound Imaging:

   • Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and musculoskeletal studies.
   • Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quty images for interpretation by radiologists or other healthcare professionals.

2. Patient Care:

   • Ensure patient comfort and provide clear explanations of procedures to alleviate anxiety and promote cooperation.
   • Position and prepare patients for ultrasound examinations, considering their unique physical and medical conditions.

3. Image Analysis:

   • Analyze ultrasound images for technical quty and make necessary adjustments to optimize diagnostic information.
   • Collaborate with radiologists to provide additional imaging or views as needed for comprehensive evaluations.
