Overview
The Travel Coordinator I position is responsible for securing and processing flights, hotels, and rental cars for AFIMAC employees, and clients. This role requires the ability to provide exceptional service, with industry knowledge, and the ability to work, and multi-task in a virtual team-based environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with AFIMAC staff to make professional, and accurate business, and group travel arrangements, including air, rental car, and hotel fulfillment.
- Confirm travel requests via email, request forms, or spreadsheets
- Complete and send credit card authorizations as required
- Track all travel requests to ensure travel logistics are fulfilled accurately.
- Work with accounting, or designee to ensure all travel related costs are accounted for and billed to the appropriate party
- Consistently provide exceptional service
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- Strong Domestic and International Travel fulfillment background
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional office or virtual environment providing customer service in the travel industry.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with native SABRE (GDS) required.
- Microsoft Office, and Outlook experience required
Proven time management skills with focus on urgent and overlapping deadline

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

- Day shift

- On call
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- SABRE: 3 years (Required)
Ability to Relocate:
- Fort Lauderdale, FL: Relocate before starting work (Required)
