Job Description
Calling on intrepid COTAs who enjoy the outdoors, and want to be in a mountainous region of the West Coast! Soliant has partnered with a school in Upper Lake, CA, and is seeking a contract COTA for this school year.
How does one qualify as a traveler?
- Will you be arranging temporary housing during the school year?
- Will you be muting 75+ miles to work?
If so, you qualify for stipends! This is a tax-free living allowance, helping out with the cost of living increases we've seen.
As a school-based COTA, the candidate will work collaboratively with a supervising OT. Duties include:
- Providing occupational therapy to students, in line with their plans of care
- Documentingclassroom activities and summarizingstudent response to interventions.
- Consulting with supervising OTs to determine appropriate activities, and adjusting activities based on student response
- Providing administrative support to the OT team
We seek applicants with the following petencies:
- Excellent munication skills
- Good organization, time management, and the ability to prioritize in a manner consistent with department guidelines
- Flexibility and the ability to foster a collegial work environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting
- COTA license from the California Board of Occupational Therapy
