Sunbelt is looking for a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Nurse for a travel position in Tulsa, Oklahoma. If you are interested in this position, apply today!
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
- Current RN license and certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) is preferred.
- 2 years previous experience in CVICU required.
- Experience in a hospital setting required.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, including post-operative care for cardiac surgery patients.
- Monitor hemodynamic status, administer medications, and manage complex medical devices.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with cardiovascular surgeons, cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to discuss patient progress and coordinate care.
Critical Thinking and Decision-Making:
- Assess patients' conditions and respond promptly to changes, making critical decisions to optimize patient outcomes.
- Utilize advanced monitoring equipment and interpret data to guide interventions.
