Support Center - Irving
The Transportation Systems Analyst will have primary responsibility for level 1 maintenance and support of the Blue Yonder Transportation Management Systems and Blue Yonder Freight Order Management Systems. The position will be responsible for supporting users from the Michaels Support Center, Michaels DC's, and Vendor Partners on these applications. In addition, the Transportation Systems Analyst will support the Sr. Transportation Systems Analyst as needed.
Major Activities
Blue Yonder TMS Application Support & Maintenance
- Maintain domestic and international tariffs through the following: input ad-hoc lane/rate updates, input annual contract lane/rate updates, maintain monthly dedicated rate updates, maintain weekly/monthly/quarterly fuel rate updates.
- Maintain all carrier and vendor information in TMS, including report distribution lists, contact lists, inputting new carrier and vendor information.
- Work in conjunction with Blue Yonder and Michaels Technology to assist with systems issues and problem resolution.
- Timely review, address, and resolve TMS support cases engaging business partner support where needed and communicating across business partners regarding resolution status.
- Support the Sr. Trans. Analyst as needed.
Blue Yonder Freight Order Management Application (FOM)
- Provide end-user technical support for the FOM application including monitoring and response to FOM support emails.
- Provide resolution to issues from vendors and internal users.
- Execute new user setup and creation.
- Review and address daily error reports.
- Work with Blue Yonder, Michaels Technology, and other vendor partners to ensure minimal system downtime and addressing issues timely.

Minimum Education
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience with Transportation Systems and Operations
Minimum Special Certifications or technical skills
- Expert in Microsoft Excel
- Strong problem solving and analytics
- General database structure and query design
Minimum Type of experience the job requires
- 1+ years of experience with TMS (BY/JDA preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, tact and diplomacy.
- Significant attention to detail and an ability to quickly spot and fix problems.
Preferred Education
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience with Transportation Systems and Operations
Preferred Special Certifications or technical skills
- TMS Super User Designation (BY/JDA preferred)
- Experience with EDI, SFTP, and/or API connectivity
