Candidates that meet the minimum qualifications based on possession of an education, a Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT), or Land Surveyor (LS) certificate must include a copy of your degree/transcripts, LSIT, or LS certificate along with your State application (STD. 678) to be considered for this position.
New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.

Special Requirements
- Appointment to Range D requires a valid Professional Land Surveying License issued by the California Board of Registration for Professional Engineers. For all other ranges, this is not required.
- Occasional travel may be required. Possession of a valid driver’s license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle.
