Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment. The shipping Receiving Specialist performs the incoming inspection under quality department guide lines.

This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. Essential Responsibilities
- Determines method of shipment and arranges shipments.
- Identifies most cost effective shipping methods with Management and Purchasing.
- Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measurements.
- Unpack incoming shipments (as appropriate) and transfer the material to designated storage areas or department.
- Deliver invoices and other documents arriving with shipments to responsible individual or work area.
- Pack outgoing shipments.
- Generate documents of items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Maintain adequate supplies to facilitate shipping operations.
- Follow and document procedures such as MSP MC-001 and MSP MC-002.
- Maintains shipping and receiving area.
- Update and maintain on time delivery schedule.

- Education and/or experience: Minimum of High School Diploma or GED and three to five years related experience and/or training.
- Computer Skills: Advanced knowledge of computers including MS Office, Fed Ex, UPS, ERP Systems, and other shipping on-line websites.
- Communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Organization: Ability to be highly organized, detail oriented and able to respond to change quickly.
Equal Pay Act Range
Hourly Range is $15.19 - $22.59 plus benefits and incentive plans.
