What You'll Do:
As the Transportation Operations Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our local transportation hub. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and motivating a team of over 40 - 50 drivers to ensure safe, efficient, and timely operations.
- Coordinating schedules and operational planning, including budget planning and talent management.
- Maintaining excellent customer relations with airline crews to exceed client expectations.
- Enforcing safety protocols to ensure a commitment to safety at all times.
- Communicating issues and providing data for timely resolution.
- Overseeing the acquisition and development of a team of drivers dedicated to providing exceptional service.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- Five years of transportation experience, with managing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A current, valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- The ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Proficiency in English language for communication and record-keeping purposes.
