Your Impact
As a Transportation Coordinator I, you'll play a vital role in our mission to provide exceptional service and support to our members during their times of need. Imagine receiving a call at 6:30 PM from a member who needs to be at a hospital 500 miles away by 5:00 AM the next day for a life-saving procedure. This is the reality for some of our members. Your role will involve coordinating with air ambulance providers across the country, ensuring door-to-door service within limited timeframes, and providing the support and reassurance that our members deserve during these critical moments.
What You Will Do
Reporting to our Transport Manager, you'll:
- Coordinate emergency and non-emergency transportation for our active members with empathy, attention to detail, and exceptional member service.
- Handle claims processing with care and efficiency, ensuring that our members receive the support they need without the added stress of unexpected bills.
- Follow up on emergency air ambulance transports, ensuring timely communication and documentation to provide peace of mind to our members and their families.
- Provide personalized support and assistance, from sending get well/sympathy cards to being available for on-call responsibilities during critical times.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure the highest level of service delivery.
What We Need From You
- 2+ years of customer service work experience in a professional setting.
- Strong communication skills demonstrating professionalism, respect, and a genuine compassion for others.
- Ability to execute tasks thoroughly, be detail-oriented, and accurate.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Dependability and flexibility, as we will count on you to work some overnight and weekend shifts when on-call.
- Bilingual English and Spanish is preferred.
