Transportation Coordinator

Position purpose:

· Coordinate the pickup, onboarding, and transportation of freight through the FragilePAK network.

· Ensure all information is recorded timely regarding the confirmation of movement in our various platforms, and keep our customers up to date on freight movement.

· Frontline for issue identification and resolution.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

· Ensure pickups and dispatch process are completed on-time, every day, including supporting dispatch screens and TMS load boards.

· Monitor orders in transit to ensure onboarding issues are correctly identified and resolved.

· Monitor escalations for timely response and resolution

· Booking transportation

· Perform duties and special requests as assigned by management

Qualifications:

· Customer and service awareness.

· Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Google Apps .

· Written and verbal communication skills.

· Attention to detail

· Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment

· Sense of urgency, and a willingness to own solutions

Preferences:

· Experience working with transportation software packages and TMS.

· Prior dispatch experience

Work Requirements:

· Hourly position with potential for overtime based on customer volume

· Daytime position but may require flexibility on start time to accommodate supporting various time zones

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
