About the role
As a Transition Specialist you'll be joining a high performing Transition team who are responsible for managing and analysing the transition of IT solutions across Foodstuffs North Island into BAU activities. It's a varied and busy role that will see you working closely with projects managers, service owners and vendors to ensure you're facilitating and bringing in the right people during transitions.
Core responsibilities will include:
Taking a lead of transitioning all project types through existing, or creation and maintaining of new Transition framework
Analyse, report and present to key stakeholders on operational impact of new onboarded services through incident analyse and reviewing of business cases.
You will from time-to-time project manage a number of initiatives.
The onboarding and transitioning of services that other parts of the business have implemented outside of IT, through engagement, communication, and Transition framework.
Gather all necessary information for our CMDB through onboarding of initiatives.
Root cause analysis and investigation of any errors in transactions.
About you
With a grounding in IT operations, you'll be ready to step into a role that will see you across all parts of IT. You'll need to be a logical thinker with the ability to constantly look to streamline transitions. With exceptional communication skills you'll be able to facilitate many different stakeholders from vendors to product owners to various IT teams.
With a focus on delivery, key to your success in this role will also include;
Proficient skills in Microsoft Office including MS Project
A logical way of thinking and working through tasks and errors
Exceptional attention to detail
Qualifications in Engineering, Science, PRINCE2 or related discipline relevant to Service Transition and Project Management
