The Clinical Development, Medical and Regulatory (CMR) department at Novo Nordisk is one of the most diverse and collaborative groups within the organization. The Position

The Transformation Lead is responsible for supporting CMR transformation by ensuring connectivity between different functions and leads across the organization. This role will lead program management support for CMR transformation initiatives. It will also collaborate with learning partners to guide the development of essential capabilities, skills, and the new ways of working.

 

Relationships

This position reports to the Director – Accelerated Efficiencies and Optimization, Strategic Operations. Connects to and collaborates with different functions and leaders involved in CMR digital transformation goals and activities to identify opportunities for synergies and shared learning. Connects to and collaborates with CMR leadership team to drive CMR transformation. Partners with the Employee Experience team to prioritize skills and capabilities in support of the broader organizational strategies. Works closely with subject matter experts to ensure content relevance and effectiveness to build capability in function.

 

Essential Functions

  • Project Management: Lead initiatives related to digital project management for CMR digital transformation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful planning to execution of projects
  • Change Activation: Lead change activation through guiding teams throughout the CMR digital transformation journey. Address challenges and resistance, fostering a positive and adaptive mindset
  • Connectivity Across Functions: Connect to and collaborate with different functions and leaders involved in CMR Transformation goals and activities to identify opportunities for synergies and shared learning
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of CMR Digital Transformation programs

 

Physical Requirements

20-30% overnight travel required. This position is a hybrid schedule requiring the employee to work 3 days per week in the Plainsboro office. 

 

Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business, Communications or equivalent, relevant experience
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in organization transformation required; Alternatively candidates with 10 years of relevant experience in transformation, program management, organizational development, organizational change or related functions will be considered
  • Demonstrated experience supporting organizational change or digital transformation initiatives within large, complex organizations
  • Strong end-to-end transformation management skills with a focus on successful execution and outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience in innovative learning tools and design principles to promote stakeholder engagement
  • Experience within life sciences, pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate and partner with all levels of the organization required
