Transcriptionist Lawyer

DEPOBOOK COURT REPORTING SERVICES LLC is seeking skilled Transcriptionist Lawyers to join our team in Modesto, California. As a Transcriptionist Lawyer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accurate transcription of legal proceedings and documents. Responsibilities:

Transcribe recorded legal proceedings, depositions, hearings, and other events with precision and attention to detail.

Ensure the accuracy, clarity, and completeness of transcribed documents while adhering to legal terminology and formatting standards.

Review and proofread transcribed documents to identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies.

Collaborate closely with court reporters, legal professionals, and clients to address transcription requirements and ensure client satisfaction.

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive legal information and documents.

Meet deadlines and manage workload effectively to ensure timely delivery of transcribed documents.

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in transcription and court reporting.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field (preferred).

Prior experience as a transcriptionist, legal secretary, or legal assistant is highly desirable.

Excellent typing skills and proficiency in transcription software and tools.

Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in transcribing complex legal content.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $22.40 - $24.20 per hour
