As a Real Estate Transaction Coordinator at Edwards & Edwards, PA you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient completion of real estate transactions. You will work closely with our staff, real estate agents, clients, and other stakeholders to assist in all aspects of the transaction process.
Key Responsibilities:
· Open escrow files and order all information necessary for the closing of escrow transactions.
· Review and verify contracts and documents for accuracy and completeness.
· Communicate with buyers, sellers, lenders, realtors, attorneys, and other parties to ensure a seamless transaction.
· Order and update payoffs, Estoppel Letters, surveys, and any other requirement to clear title.
· Maintain and organize electronic and paper transaction files, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
· Assist with the preparation of closing statements and settlement documents.
· Resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the transaction process.
· Keep all parties informed and updated on the progress of transactions.
· Perform other administrative tasks and duties as needed.
· Assist Closer/Escrow officer with mailings, as directed. Prepare legal pleadings and motions as requested to clear title.
· Assist with pre-closing files: Assure that all information is accurate and matches the original Purchase Contract, e.g., zip codes, property address, spelling of names, marital status of buyers, etc.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience as a Real Estate Transaction Coordinator or in a related role is preferred.
· Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
· Strong in-person, phone, and written customer communication skills.
· Knowledge of real estate contracts and transactions.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Title & Escrow software (Qualia)
· Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience: Previous experience in the real estate industry with a familiarity to real estate closings and title strongly preferred. Previous Law Office experience a plus. Full time position in Southpoint Location in Jacksonville, FL.
