Training Support Specialist Iii / Site Lead

Summary:

We are seeking a Training Support Specialist III / Site Lead to join our team to provide course support services at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, in support of the U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE)/Department of Operational Medicine (DoOM). Will provide assistance in the training of Soldiers in a wide variety of individual and team skills for DoOM/TCMC courses. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Training Support operations at our site, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of training programs and services.

This position is located in Fort Sam Houston, TX.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide leadership and guidance to the Training Support team, including training coordinators and instructors, to ensure high-quality delivery of training services.
• Oversee all aspects of Training Support operations at the site, including scheduling, logistics, equipment, and facilities management.
• Prepare, position, reset, and recover/store medical training manikins for training in outdoor High Threat extraction training stations, outdoor Care Under Fire (CUF)/ Tactical Field Care (TFC) lanes, and indoor Battalion Aid Station (BAS) scenarios.
• Serve as primary program point of contact to TCMC government leadership for logistics, contract personnel resource scheduling, course delivery requirements, and represent support course-specific planning meetings.
• Provide technical advice and assists program course preparation, delivery, and logistics. Prepare monthly restock/resupply class 8 inventory report.
• Responsible for organizing and coordinating training and storage facilities (to include 9 Conex/storage sheds and buildings) on JBSA Ft. Sam Houston/Camp Bullis in support of TCMC program of instruction.
• Provide input and feedback on the training schedule and academic calendar.
• Provide advice to Program Director, faculty, and staff on developing logistics schedule aligned with course support requirements and works with each faculty member on scheduling and classroom/student equipment needs.

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of training principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates Degree.
• Minimum 5 years experience
• Ability to pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
