The Financial Literacy Trainer will be responsible for the effective coordination and presentation of training and development programs related to Financial Literacy and wellness for internal staff and community partners. This position assesses training initiatives, identifies, and arranges improved training solutions related to financial wellness. This position actively searches for improvement in training design and implementation and uses effective methods to facilitate and enhance performance.
Requirements
The Financial Literacy Trainer will be responsible for:
- The design, development, and delivery of an internal Financial Literacy program for employees. Must be able to present complex financial concepts in a clear and accessible manner for students with varying levels of financial knowledge.
- Collaborating with the Community Impact Advocate to create and deliver financial education and literacy to various community partners. Will be responsible for building a foundational literacy program and tailoring education to partner's needs.
- Formulating training outline and determines instructional methods, utilizing individual training, group instructions, demonstrations, and workshops; selects or develops training aids such as handbooks, visual aids, and tutorials.
- Assisting in the development and enhancement of the program's financial education curriculum to meet the specific needs of the participants. Creating educational materials, resources, and tools to enhance clients' Financial Literacy. Developing digital personalized plans and strategies that address the specific needs of families and communities, including but not limited to a detailed financial assessment.
- Fostering a positive and supportive environment for participants, encouraging active engagement and participation in the program. Assist participants in understanding their financial strengths and weaknesses. Address participant's concerns, questions, and uncertainties about personal finance matters.
- Maintaining proficiency in Financial Literacy by taking essential professional development to enhance knowledge.
- One year to three years of similar or related experience in teaching, facilitation, training, and/or training content creation.
- A bachelor's degree in education, human resources, communication, or a similar field or achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree
- Experience with the delivery and development of training materials.
- Must be able to practice effective presentation skills both in the classroom and online.
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills to deliver information clearly and effectively.
- Be flexible and adapt to change quickly.
- Must be able to identify learning styles and adapt training and coaching to meet the needs of individual trainees.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position with an hourly rate starting at $25.00/hour, and will be adjusted depending on experience, education and qualifications.
This role is hybrid, which includes corporate office setting, remote work, and occasional travel to community events and branch locations. May include evening and/or weekend activities.

$25.00-$32.00/hour
