Training Specialist
GDIT is the Prime contractor for the Flight School Training Support Services (FSTSS) program, which supports the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE). Located in Daleville, Alabama, GDIT owns and operates the facilities that provide flight simulator training.
GDIT has an immediate opening in their Operations department for a Training Specialist. This is a customer service position in GDIT's Operations department that requires on site professional support to efficiently satisfy customer and contract team requests.
HOW A TRAINING SPECIALIST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
You will be responsible for the following (not limited to):
- Specific responsibilities will include adherence to facility access policies, devices scheduling and remote operation, transportation oversite, role player services, classroom configuration, device performance and maintenance tracking, all while actively provide solutions to deconflict demand and maximize the value of these services.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Education: BA/BS or equivalent relevant years of experience
- Required Technical Skills:
- Basis computer skills
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Fluent in the use of desktop and web-based applications.
- Focused on customer service.
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience with flight simulation operation and role-playing support services.
- Aptitude to employ OneSAF® and AVSAF preferred.
- Knowledgeable in aviation tower and radar procedures.
- Understanding of and ability to apply military radio phraseology.
- Practiced in training development.
- Available to work non-standard hours to include weekends.
- Understand and apply company policies and government regulations.
- Security Clearance Level: Must be able obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Location: Customer site; Available to work non-standard hours to include weekends.
