Job description

Summary You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST in the MARINE AIR GROUND TASK FORCE (MAGTF) STAFF TRAINING PROGRAM DIVISION of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND. Responsibilities You will collaborate with other Branch Heads, staff sections and external organizations to negotiate, plan, and coordinate work impacting operations. You will develop proposals and make presentations to complete actions, accomplish coordination, and ensure funding by the responsible activities.

You will determine the quantity of contractual services required for projected workload, evaluate existing contracts to determine appropriateness and, recommend either making modifications to an existing contract or creating a new contract. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading and managing a diverse workforce of active duty and contractor personnel, designing, building, and maintaining complex command and control system architectures, and communicating concepts, ideas, and training methods to senior officers, simulation community subject matter experts, and training audiences.
