Position Overview:

As a Regional Training Specialist at SPS, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our employees' professional development across the region. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and delivering impactful training programs using a variety of instructional methods and technologies. This role is perfect for a dynamic, resourceful professional who is skilled in managing multiple training initiatives, adapting to different learning styles, and creating a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging and effective training programs, utilizing various instructional methods and technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with subject matter experts to gather information and create captivating training content.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify training gaps and develop targeted solutions.
  • Employ the ADDIE model to ensure the development of effective training programs.
  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions, managing all logistics to ensure smooth execution.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through rigorous assessments and feedback mechanisms.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and best practices in instructional design and learning technologies.
  • Assist with HR sourcing activities to identify and attract potential candidates for training programs.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong foundation in instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
  • Proficient in learning technologies, such as Adobe Captivate or similar tools, and familiar with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other learning platforms.
  • Experience with HR sourcing processes to identify potential candidates for training programs.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, complemented by strong public speaking abilities.
  • Proven ability to collect data, analyze results, and measure the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Capability to develop engaging content for a variety of training formats, including experience delivering classroom-based training sessions.
