How will you have an impact in this role?
The Training Manager will be responsible as the Training Manager for identifying, developing, implementing, tracking, evaluating and monitoring the training needs of Landus in the areas of safety, health, employee orientation, work culture, policies, procedures and leadership.
This position will conduct annual recurrent training, maintain training files, and manage and implement the company’s training programs, to ensure compliance with Landus policies and practices as well as exceed industry standards.
What will you do?
- Review existing training programs, recommend/implement enhancements, or modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention, and/or to meet the changing needs of Landus.
- Identify, develop, and implement in areas where training can improve employee safety, health, education, morale, and all other Landus training needs.
- Research new supplies and materials that can enhance training procedures while providing value to employees. This includes creating and providing training materials and programs that are current, accurate, and effective. Identify future needs and create a curriculum to facilitate that training.
- Communicate with managers and HR Business Partners to ensure that all needs are met.
- Identify training and development opportunities for employees identified as possible future leaders of Landus.
- Conduct orientation programs and arrange for on-the-job training for new hires.
- Research, evaluate, and partner with vendors and third-party training providers to provide training in specific areas that require specialized skills and knowledge or is more efficiently delivered.
- Develop, recommend, and manage the annual training budget.
- Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate an engaging and effective New Employee Orientation program that is inspiring while addressing on-boarding requirements, policies, procedures, and work culture.
- Develop and implement individualized and group training programs that address general specific safety, health, employee, and leadership.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement technology that can provide and track training activity within Landus.

This ideal candidate will have:
- Must have a valid motor vehicle license.
- Bachelor degree and 5 years job related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
