We have a unique opportunity for a training specialist to help our family owned company establish core training competencies, systems and procedures. We have 13 bakery-restaurants in the Miami area with a faithful following and 30 years of history. We are looking for an experienced Training Manager to join our team to help us implement current systems and standards and develop a team of trainers and managers. Your role will be extremely important as you will be responsible for training and enhancing competencies of our employees and management teams. You will be planning and implementing training programs and workshops in a way that is interesting and useful to our employees.

- Identify training initiatives according to needs
- Based on research, plan and implement training programs that will prepare employees for the next step of their career paths
- Recruit trainers and implement a Certified Training program
- Prepare budget for training programs and workshops
- Implement all the training programs per strategic plan
- Have a training program marketing strategy to the staff this will be new to them
- Prepare and deliver training courses
- Prepare quarterly goals in line with the leadership teams objectives
- Demonstrated knowledge and execution of basic restaurant operating standards for both the Front & Back of the House
- Basic restaurant P&L knowledge and skills
- Outstanding managerial & team leadership skills
- Bi-Lingual (English and Spanish)
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Superb track record in developing and executing successful training programs.
- Critical thinker with innovative problem-solving skills.
- Highly computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and related business and communication tools.
- Familiar with traditional and modern training processes.
- Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
- Strategic and creative mindset.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Training Specialist or similar role for multi-unit
- 3-5 years of experience with designing training programs and workshops
- 2-3 years of experience with learning management software or systems (preferred)
- Knowledge of various training and teaching methods
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on companys success
