SUMMARY 

Support Dubuque's Training Center and associates. Prepare and deliver new, ongoing, and annual training initiatives. Provide onboarding, skill development, and enhancement to temporary and full-time Value Stream associates. Work with subject matter experts to create and maintain process procedures and standard work.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

•Deliver new employee onboarding and support the training efforts
•Provide hands-on and administrative responsibilities for new and existing associates
•Provide training per standard work for associates
•Maintain audits and records as necessary (standard work, quality, safety, training matrix)
•Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with leaders and associates
•Guide continuous improvement activities, engage and promote associate involvement
•Support and utilize Lean/AMS tools and implementation
•Perform related duties as assigned or requested

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS 

•Experience in Training/Onboarding associates.
•Experienced Job Instructor Trainer or Team Lead preferred •Organized, team player, good communicators, and dependable
•Takes initiative and ownership or projects and tasks. Ensures completion with high quality
•Must be proficient in MS Office, Words, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
•Competent communication skills; speaking, writing, and listening
•Experienced in training and/or coaching others
•Experience creating and maintaining standard work; with strong technical writing skills
•Candidate must maintain a high level of diligence (attention to detail) and follow through
•Competent in completing short and long term project initiatives •Prioritize activities from multiple sources, and communicate when activities/tasks are complete •Demonstrate ability to work with and motivate others
•Safety conscious; individual must possess a passion for safety, and exhibit safety leadership qualities •Able to maintain a respectful and safe work environment
•Trustworthy and sensitive of confidential information
•Able to support a continuous improvement culture; uses creativity to implement new ideas to improve training initiatives
•Execute and train Lean Principles with assistance
•Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
