Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following and other duties may be assigned: 

  1. Oversees the daily activities of training departments associates and consultants. This includes the e-learning specialist and On-The-Job Trainer.
  2. Oversees and leads the Rosina University development program.
  3. Oversees the OTJ Trainer program.
  4. Co-leads and supports HR leadership efforts with the performance management system
  5. Ensures that training materials and programs are current, accurate, compliant and effective.
  6. Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to the organization and/or industry.
  7. Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs.
  8. Plan, develop, and provide Training and staff development programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job, meetings, conferences and workshops.
  9. Collaborates with vendors and third-party training providers to arrange associate registration for participation in training programs.
  10. Manages Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure that program can provide the needed support to staff for the purpose of initial Training and career development. Ensure training material is up-to-date and meets document control standards. Track system utilization and associate qualifications.
  11. Collaborates with department leaders to provide department specific Training and continuity training as needed.
  12. Utilizes the training team and key company stakeholders for the purpose of developing walkthroughs and job aids to provide support to staff with their day-to-day job responsibilities.
  13. Collects data on KPIs in specific areas to gauge departmental need for Training and staff development.
  14. Collects feedback from participants to ensure information is received and understood by the audience and to determine what changes should be made to improve the training course.
  15. Collaborates with leadership team to assist with the creation of development plans to help improve staff performance as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in related area.
  • Needs to possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in Training and instructional design.
  • Must possess the ability to produce reports, public speaking, analyze data and assess business needs.
  • Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and technical writing skills.
  • Attention to detail and observation abilities are required.
  • Individual needs to possess organizational and communication skills that are appropriate for the position.
  • Individual must have strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to motivate others, create a learning environment.
  • Must be able to work multiple shifts at times when training is needed.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.  Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or requests for information.  Needs to be able to compose correspondence and detailed instructions which will be used by the Associates.

Rosina compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. The annual salary is just one component of Rosina’s total compensation package. Other rewards may include incentive compensation bonuses. Additionally, Rosina provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
