Title: Training Analyst/Learning Experience Designer
Location: Near Surprise, AZ
Availability: 40 hours/week (normal business hours MST), anticipated starting in January 2024
Rate: $55/hour, depending on scope of work and level of experience

And we’re growing! Currently, we’re looking for a Contract Training Analyst (1099) to join our extended team. You will be responsible for leading analytical efforts that will set direction for content development and acting as a strategic partner and technical resource for the client’s Instructional Design team.
This is a long-term contract position with a high growth, innovative global tech company. The expectation is that candidates are able to accommodate a hybrid work environment, including 3 days each week in an office location near Surprise, AZ with the other 2 days being remote. There will be occasional travel to meet with team members in another office location in Santa Clara Valley, CA. The rate for this particular role is $55/hour, which will ultimately take into account candidates' level of experience, education, and geographic location. There is not a variable compensation element associated with this role.
What You'll Be Doing
- Act as a strategic thought partner — supporting the development of journey maps, learner personas, and content mapping
- Conduct content strategies, including content curation, to identify what content needs to be built, borrowed, or bought
- Be acutely aware of client needs by leading consultative conversations and create L&D strategies that align to the client’s organizational goals, priorities, performance metrics and objectives
- Be able to leverage your knowledge of learner-centered, innovative learning solutions and technology to quickly address client needs
- Gather requirements for custom development and work with the project team to determine feasibility of the custom solution
- Facilitate consultative discovery conversations, strategic assessments, and design thinking workshops to develop a custom fit learning roadmap focused on achieving business outcomes
- Create, curate and recommend digital, physical and experiential learning experiences in various formats
- Work with, assist and advise subject matter experts
- Design evaluation programs using levels 1, 2, 3, and 4 evaluation both during learning experiences (for example, learning journeys) and post-learning, and tie learner outcomes to business objectives
- Create design documents and storyboards as needed, as well as change management and transformational blueprints
- Participate in peer reviews and content development discussions
- Other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
- 5 – 8 years’ experience working in client learning solutions with the proven ability to design and develop in the tech industry
- Proven experience as a Training Analyst or Learning Experience Designer
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience required
- Proven experience in Adobe Captivate
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Working knowledge of such collaboration tools as iWork and Confluence
- The ability to demonstrate the relationship between effective learning and organizational performance
- Proven experience in creating learning solutions for the modern learner, including hybrid workforces
- Expertise working within various learning technologies
- Experience with accessibility standards is a bonus
