Traffic Control Technician

Responsibilities:

- Implement and maintain Traffic Control plans in accordance with safety regulations and project requirements
- Direct traffic and ensure the safe and efficient flow of vehicles through construction zones
- Set up and remove Traffic Control devices such as cones, signs, and barricades
- Communicate with construction crews and drivers to provide instructions and guidance
- Monitor traffic conditions and adjust Traffic Control measures as needed
- Maintain a safe work area for both workers and drivers
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Traffic Control Technician or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Traffic Control devices and their proper usage
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and Traffic Control plans
- Certification in Traffic Control or related field is a plus
- Experience in utility locating is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
