CORT provides furniture rental solutions to trade shows and events including festivals, weddings, corporate events, or even the Superbowl! The Operations Manager oversees labor, inventory, transportation, warehousing, and safety.
This is an onsite position performed from the CORT distribution centers and event venues that CORT delivers to.
Schedule:Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends, is required.
Salary starts at $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

- Oversees scheduling related to trucks, product transfers, temporary labor, and deliveries
- Strong customer service/vendor client relations as this person will be the main point of contact at show site for contractors, customers and vendors
- Controls inventory to ensure the integrity of computerized inventory database daily
- Maintain and monitor safety activities to ensure compliance with company and state regulations, OSHA, DOT requirements, and safety/health standards
- Manages labor, temporary labor, truck, transportation, and warehouse to meet budget commitments.
- Maintains a culture where everyone in the facility is knowledgeable of safe work practices and committed to following safe work practices.
- Shipping and receiving for product transfers between CORT locations across the nation
- Understanding of P&L/Budgeting/Forecasting
- Management of driver, warehouse, and temporary staff (Hire, Train, Coach, Mentor, Team Building, Performance Management)
- Build customer relationships to help achieve growth and drive decisions to ensure customer relationships are successful.
- Oversees deliveries on event sites as needed
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 3-5 years management experience in tradeshow and events operations is highly preferred
- A valid state driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Physically able and willing to move furniture indoors, outdoors, up or down stairs and in all weather conditions; ability to lift 100+ pounds with a partner
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Willing to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Must pass drug screening, background checks and MVR checks (if applicable) as a condition of employment. CORT also participates in the E-Verify program.
