Duration: 05/31/2024 (potential temp to hire if person does not return from MAT leave)
Work hours: 40 hrs per week, weekends required (Thurs-Sun)
Location: Seattle, WA
They will only cover stores in Seattle WA area s
This is to cover maternity leave in one of my top markets.
GENERAL FUNCTION :Lead medium to large release management projects across SAP and other applications from test, QA and production. Will work with cross-functional teams using project management principles. Analyze delivery elements of a release, plan and manage task delivery from identified resource groups, manage timeline from code delivery to test through to implementation and production. Perform day-to-day project tasks needed to manage defined application code releases across environments Control and manage the release schedules, managing to ensure tasks and timelines are identified and met per release schedule. Manage, maintain, and document schedules and communication for per defined schedules. Provide visibility and guidance in to parallel and future project impacts to current release schedule and plans. Implement and maintain processes and standards to ensure compliance with defined controls in the area of application change management. Work with management to identify resource needs and expectations. Assist in the development, analysis and maintenance of tools and processes that support release management. Create, manage, control, identify, implement and enforce release management processes, process changes and documentation. Publish and maintain project documentation, related to release delivery and change management notifications. Consultant on other system development projects for Luxottica Retail on overall system design, usability, and testing as it relates to project and environment impact. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Lead efforts to identify processes improvements and simplification of current practices. 2. Lead efforts to use appropriate tools and processes to manage releases across systems.3. Proactively address, control, and report any issues related to project schedule related to all defined tasks and dependencies for code deployment related to releases.4. Lead and design release best practices and standards. Coach and train associates in IT department on these standards.5. Document and manage release issues and upgrades initiating follow up with developers and tech services for management and resolution.6. Work closely with the development team, testing, and business leads to ensure the system application design changes are delivered in conjunction with other application releases. Top 3-5 mandatory and/or minimum requirements: Able to sell high end sunglasses direct to consumers, train using materials provided, partner with department store staff as a vendor rep Top 3-5 desirable attributes/qualifications? Friendly, outgoing, team player, detail oriented Required levels/ Years of Experience experience, education - discuss whether there is flexibility Prefer a background in department stores or as a vendor rep previously

GENERAL FUNCTION
The Premium Sum Market Specialist is responsible for all activities relating to the promotion, merchandising and sell-through of Luxottica brands within an assigned territory. The Market Specialist is responsible for effectively selling all Luxottica products and promoting the Luxottica brand image to Account Sales Associates, management and consumers
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for meeting sales goals and objectives for Luxottica brands within an assigned territory
  • Schedules and maintains a regular visit cadence with all doors within assigned territory and as determined by sales cycle priorities and activities
  • Actively promotes Luxottica products to account customers and consumers through brand and category trainings, consumer engagement/events and merchandising activities
  • Develops strong working relationships with store management and personnel; meets with store management to identify business opportunities to maximize Luxottica's presence and drive sales
  • Is knowledgeable of and keeps current with all Luxottica products, services, promotions, advertising and competitive offers to facilitate sales efforts; maintains awareness of competitor's products, promotions, and services
  • Provides customers with professional, personalized customer service to promote sales by increasing customer awareness and knowledge of Luxottica's brands and the eye wear category
  • Ensures prominent product placement within stores in assigned territory, while ensuring execution of brand standards of merchandising and signage
  • Adheres to individual store policies including dress code
  • Conducts regular Luxottica product trainings in-store, for Account Sales Associates, to ensure knowledge of Luxottica's products, marketing activities, selling strategies and merchandising standards
  • Heavy Travel, 80% of the time, including occasional overnight hotel stays for meetings or special events.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associates degree in business management with concentration in marketing, merchandising, sales preferred
  • Generally requires 3 - 5 years of experience in a customer service environment; previous merchandising, selling and/or retail experience required, ideally in a fashion environment
  • Heavy travel within assigned territory
  • Car and valid Driver's License is required
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Driven to engage with account personnel and consumers
  • Excellent sales, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to present, motivate and coach in front of a large group
  • Good negotiation and analytical skills
  • Must be thoroughly familiar with all Luxottica products within assigned stores
  • Ability to take initiative, generate creative selling solutions and work in a fast paced environment
  • Proficient w/ PC and IOS applications - Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, iPad

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Department Store/Boutique experience preferred
