My name is Bill Stevens and I have a new twelve month plus hybrid scheduled Trade Compliance Analyst (Junior Role) opportunity available for a major firm located in Newark, New Jersey that could be of interest to you, please review my specification below.

The work schedule will be a hybrid one, three days a week in the office in Newark, New Jersey directly across the street from Penn Station and two days remote.
The ideal candidate should also possess a green card or be of citizenship. No Visa entanglements.
This position pays $35.00 per hour on a w-2 hourly basis.
Responsibilities:
Regulatory Corporate Affairs - Working to increase compliance throughout the business.
Managing stakeholders from commercial, supply chain, finance and logistics.
Regulatory compliance works to ensure business stakeholders are behaving correctly in international transactions.
Sitting within the corporate affairs team, the team members work daily to mitigate risk to the business, provide financial savings opportunities in international transactions, and give predictability to how business stakeholders move products.
Manages or performs work associated with both import and export administration including:
Managing and planning import process, customs documentation, shipping, and receiving of foreign merchandise to ensure it arrives at correct time
Overseeing the issue of import licenses and completion of monetary transactions associated with the import in a timely manner
Controlling all documentation related to the export process, ensuring necessary documentation is provided to customers to enable them to receive the products without delay Monitoring the preparation and dispatch of customer export orders, and planning/directing the flow of air and surface traffic to the final destination
Ensuring compliance with the home and foreign country government laws and customs regulations
