We are looking for a Commercial Driver to join our enthusiastic operations team based in Los Angeles, California. This position plays a major role in our company as our drivers are what runs our business. For the full details of the responsibilities of this role please see the attached Job Description.
What We’re Looking For
At Big Bus Tours, how we do things is as important as what we do, that’s why our ideal candidate will be passionate about providing outstanding customer service while operating a commercial vehicle safely.
Character may be important to us but there are a couple of minimum requirements for this role, these are:
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years driving a commercial vehicle (must have your CDL for a minimum of 2 years)
Qualification/License
- Valid California Commercial Driver's License either Class A or B
- Passenger & Air Brake Endorsements
- Valid/Updated DOT Medical Certificate
- If offered employment, must be willing to join the union (TWP 100)
- Flexible Availability
Language
- Must be able to read, write, and speak in English

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a bus or van to transport passengers to and from designated locations
- Follow a predetermined route and schedule to ensure timely arrivals and departures
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, conducting routine inspections and reporting any maintenance issues
- Ensure the safety of passengers by adhering to traffic laws and company policies
- Manage passenger behavior and enforce rules to maintain a safe and respectful environment
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members
