Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Touch Up Assembler to join our manufacturing team in building high tech telecommunications equipment. This position requires a person with a demonstrated proficiency in mechanical assembly and hand soldering.
What you'll do
Assemble electronic and mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
Perform hand soldering operations.
Read and understand basic electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions, part lists, routings, work instructions, EO, ECO, BOM.
Inspect assemblies to ensure conformance to specifications and industry standards.
Use and operate standard hand and power tool such as screwdrivers, torque tools, wire strippers, crimping tools, and custom fixtures.
Follow ESD and safety procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
What would be useful
IPC-610 Certification
Must Have
The successful candidate must have:
High school diploma or GED.
Basic computer skills and the ability to use standard software.
Two years experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
Must be able to read instructions and identify standard SMT components
Able to identify and touch up solder defects that occur during the SMT operation.
Ability to sit for long periods of time and lift 35 lbs.
