Job Description
The Total Rewards Analyst at Batteries Plus is part of the Human Resources team and is a key contributor in the administration and development of Total Rewards programs across the organization. The role will be responsible for providing professional level analysis of our compensation, employee benefits, and compliance programs for Batteries Plus. The Total Rewards Analyst contributes to the success of the organization by ensuring our employees are compensated and rewarded equitably, and through maintaining accurate, reliable data for the organization to help inform strategic business decisions.

Responsibilities:
Compensation
- Manage the implementation and administration of compensation programs and incentive plans
- Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommends changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives
- Provide advice on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations
- Design creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs and incentive plans
- Submit data for participation in salary surveys and monitors salary survey data to ensure corporate compensation objectives are achieved
- Assess jobs and their respective duties to determine classification as exempt or nonexempt and appropriate salary range
- Benchmark jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position
- Prepare and maintains job classifications and salary scales
- Gather data from market-based compensation surveys; uses spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends
- Craft meaningful communications around the value of our rewards, including total compensation statements, Total Rewards communications and manager and employee rewards trainings
Benefits and Wellness
- Coordinate day-to-day benefits processing, including employee questions, new-hire enrollments, life events, and terminations
- Complete regular and ad hoc audits to ensure that employee benefits coverage, payroll deductions, and vendor invoices are accurate
- Partner with the Total Rewards Manager on the execution of annual benefits renewals and enrollment processes
- Conduct presentations to educate our employees about our benefits programs
- Provide leave-management support, reporting, vendor management, and policy updates
- Partner with the Total Rewards Manager on 401(k) plan design, compliance and administration
- Ensure that all benefits programs are implemented and maintained in compliance with legal requirements and regulatory guidelines (ERISA, ACA, etc.)
- Develop targeted wellness communications and initiatives to engage employees in wellness
- Monitor the progress and results of the wellness program to include maintaining wellness metrics
General Duties
- Provide analytical support for the Total Rewards function: respond to and analyze results of Total Rewards surveys, conduct data mining and reporting on Total Rewards information
- Serve as a lead providing expertise, technical support and training to other staff members
- Keep abreast of Total Rewards regulations
- Act as backup to Payroll Administrator as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or related field
- 3 - 5 years Total Rewards experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software, particularly Microsoft Excel and/or Google Suites
