Skilled Trades Partners,Inc is hiring a Project Manager for a highly reputable company based in Laurel, MD with multiple divisions across the US. This position will entail commercial construction estimating in larger scale projects valued above $5M.
Our client is well known commercial construction company that has been established since 1959 and now operates in 26 states across the US. It is an employee focused company that services clients in multiple sectors of the industry such as: Education, Senior Living, Life Sciences, Hospitality, Corporate and Government.
Responsibilities:
- In charge of all financial aspects of the project, including the issuance of prime and subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders and the overall scope of work
- Manages all materials, contracts, negotiations and buyout of the project
- Ensure all safety equipment and aspects of the project are met
- Conducts daily walks throughout the work site
- Supervise the project team
- Controls cost and maximizes profits
- Manage clients, vendors and collaborate across departments to ensure project on time and in budget completion

Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field
- 7-10 years of experience in construction estimating, previous commercial experience is preferred
- Previous experience managing projects above $20M+ is a must
- Osha 10 certification is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborative, accountable and a team player
- Able to work in a fast paced environment to meet deadlines
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Procure, Viewpoint, CIS or similar software
Salary $100K-$130K DOE + Full Benefits
