Position and Responsibilities Overview
Work as part of a small team to travel to active jobsites and inventory tools on the site and add them to the new tool tracking software.

• Learn new tool tracking software and become proficient enough to utilize it without supervision
• Identify and inventory tools on jobsite
• Apply barcodes & BT tags to the tracked tools
• Add tool inventory into tool tracking system
• Complete transactions with the software to assign tools to the appropriate site and employees

• Conduct regular inspections using new software and run audits to identify potential issues and notify lead of findings Receives direct supervision.

• Performs technical responsibilities.
• Work is generally structured or recurring.
• Objectives based on established guidelines, processes and operating procedures.
• Relevant past experience is not necessarily required.
• Entry-level position.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Able to follow guidance from team leader and work autonomously
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Good aptitude with computers and ability to learn new software
• Experience managing inventory
• Material handling and forklift experience preferred
• Clean motor vehicle records in order to drive company vehicle
• Willingness to travel as needed for field operations
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or overtime as required
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations and requirements

Safety is Our Top Priority

• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• All employees are accountable for safety and health and are empowered to stop work if an unsafe condition is present. Employees should immediately notify their supervisor so that the hazard may be corrected.
• RK Mechanical employees and subcontractors are required to implement and maintain all safety and health systems practices including the training requirements of RK Mechanical Orientation, shop specific orientation, CPR/First Aid/AED/Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazard Identification and Reporting, and OSHA 10.

Minimum Physical Requirements

• Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas.

• Work in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations.
• Climb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch.
• Work in all types of weather.
• Must have working knowledge of all trade materials and tools.
• Ability to lift and carry 51 to 75 lbs. occasionally, and/or 31 to 45 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 16 to 22 pounds of force constantly to move objects
