SalaryEssential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Complete mold designs assigned by the Manager.
- Work with the Manager to guarantee products are as promised by considering during design the lead times, efficiency numbers, aesthetics, cost, etc.
- Design pre-production tooling needed to manufacture prototypes when necessary. This includes the use of rapid prototyping.
- Delivery of accurate mold design drawings/files to the machine shop upon acceptance by the Engineering Manager.
- Design of manufacturing aids when necessary.
Experience, Skills & Education:
- 1-3 years design and engineering experience
- Tool design experience required
- Knowledge of machine shop practices
- Experience with Solidworks required
- K&N BMS knowledge preferred
Additional Qualities Necessary:
- Must be able to follow through on all tasks with limited supervision.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work in a team environment
