Paragon Precision, a Princeton Precision Group company specializing in tight tolerance parts for the aerospace & defense industry is seeking a dedicated, long-term Tool Crib Attendant. The Tool Crib Attendant will support production and purchasing by operating manual machinery including lathes, mills, and surface grinders. As well as perform inventory assessments for regularly used tooling and placing orders as needed.

- Identify and resolve reoccurring stock-out problems
- Evaluate min / max set points for stock tooling and supplies
- Identify acceptable alternative tools and supplies as needed
- Receive and put away all tools and hardware that are purchased to fulfill a job
- Complete a cycle count of tools on a monthly basis
- Restock unused parts back into the crib
- Order tooling and supplies as needed
- Track supplier stock outages and report performance
- Request quotes from suppliers
- Issue purchase orders as needed
- Machined part assembly as needed
- Operate manual mills, lathes, and surface grinders
- Grind endmill tooling
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to effectively use programs within the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with ERP systems preferred
- Understanding of minimum / maximum inventory levels for tooling
- Ability to identify, track, and maintain Tool Crib inventory
- Ability to perform basic shop math
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and sketches
- Experience using depth micrometers, inside diameter gage, and outside diameter gage
- Understanding of various tooling technology
