Rose Villa's Rosebud Preschool is seeking full-time Toddler teacher to join our team!
Who we are:
We are located on the campus of Rose Villa, a nonprofit senior living community in SE Portland & our intergenerational model incorporates Rose Villa residents into programming regularly. Our vision is a community made up of children, teachers, families, Rose Villa residents, and members of our broader area that promotes optimal learning and development for young children. Daily we seek to engage families and elders in meaningful interactions, promote appreciation of the importance of early childhood & encourage a greater understanding and respect between generations.
The leadership team at Rosebud is committed to providing a healthy working environment for all staff. Beyond offering competitive wages and excellent benefits, we value individual voices, we welcome new ideas, and supervisors support staff in the classroom often. We know that a diversity of experiences and identities on a team contributes to strength and resilience, and our classroom promotes equity, justice, and respect.
We practice the Reggio-Emilia approach to early education at Rosebud. We love this philosophy for its values of art, self-expression, community, and a deep, foundational respect for children and childhood. Our curriculum is guided by the natural interest of children and relationship-building is a core value of our school. Prior experience with Reggio programs is not required.
