SalaryChalmers Ford in Rio Rancho is Now Hiring and has an Immediate Opening for an Automotive Experienced Title Clerk. This is a fast paced position that has growth, and advancement opportunities. The Title Clerk is responsible for processing titles, communication with customers and vendors on related issues, posting car deals and reconciling schedules. The ideal candidate will be energetic and professional, with a strong desire to succeed. You must be able to multi-task, be detail oriented and have excellent communication skills, this is a TEAM environment!
Pay $17.00 and hour, after 90 days its $19.00 an hour!
Job Responsibilities:
General accounting tasks and related skills
Responsible for answering all incoming calls, taking messages, and customer care
Process vehicle Title paperwork on all new and used vehicles sold both in state and out of state as well as wholesales
Responsible for stocking in and distributing checks for purchased inventory
Maintain strict compliance with all Title laws and filing requirements
Issue checks for fees due and refund checks to customers on an as needed basis
Accurately record and file completed vehicle sales deals
Troubleshoot and problem resolution specific to titles, odometer discrepancies, power of attorney, etc.
Occasional cashier and receptionist duties
Reconcile schedules as assigned
Requirements:
VEHICLE DEALERSHIP TITLE EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED - minimum 1 year
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds Power strongly preferred
Some accounting experience preferred
Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines
Self-starter and ability to multi-task
Effective Communication Skills
Perform other duties as assigned
