Job Summary:
The Window Tint Technician is responsible for professionally applying window film to various types of vehicles, residential and commercial properties, providing customers with privacy, sun protection, and enhanced aesthetics. The technician will utilize their expertise to ensure precise and flawless installation of window tint films while adhering to industry standards and customer requirements.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Window Tint Installation: Accurately measure and cut window tint films to fit windows of different sizes and shapes in vehicles, residential homes, and commercial buildings. Apply the film to windows using specialized tools and techniques to achieve high-quality results.
  • Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to understand their specific window tinting needs and preferences. Provide recommendations and suggestions regarding the appropriate window film options based on the customers' requirements.
  • Film Selection: Assist customers in choosing the right type of window tint film, considering factors such as tint darkness, UV protection, heat reduction, glare reduction, and privacy needs.
  • Surface Preparation: Clean and prepare windows thoroughly before applying the window tint film to ensure a smooth and durable installation.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect completed window tint installations to ensure they meet quality standards and are free from defects, bubbles, or imperfections.
  • Troubleshooting: Address any issues or concerns that may arise during the window tint installation process and implement corrective measures promptly.
  • Tools and Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and care for all tools, equipment, and materials used in the window tinting process to ensure their proper functioning and longevity.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working with window tint films, cutting tools, and other equipment to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of completed projects, customer details, and the type of window film used for each installation.
  • Stay Updated: Stay informed about the latest window tinting techniques, products, and industry trends to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements
Education/Experience Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience as a window Tint Technician or in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of various types of window tint films and their applications.
  • Familiarity with different types of vehicles and window structures is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical dexterity and ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

Travel:
  • No travel required for this position.
