Job Title:TikTok Specialist
Department: Consumer Marketing
Reports to: Director - Consumer Marketing
Hours Available: M-F 8:30am-5:30pm EST (1-hour lunch break)

Salary Range: $61,750 - $108,800 (Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law)

Summary: As our TikTok Social Media Specialist, you will be the driving force behind our brand's presence on TikTok. Your main goal will be to create compelling content, build a vibrant community, and leverage influencer partnerships to amplify our message. With your expertise, we aim to both enhance our organic reach and implement effective paid advertising strategies on the platform.
Essential Functions (include but not limited to):
  • Content Creation: Develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with our brand's voice and goals, creating engaging and innovative TikTok content that resonates with our target audience.
  • Community Engagement: Foster a strong community by actively engaging with followers and participating in TikTok trends, encouraging user interaction and feedback.
  • Influencer Collaboration: Identify and partner with TikTok influencers whose brand aligns with ours to extend our reach and impact. Manage all aspects of influencer partnerships, including outreach, negotiation, and campaign execution.
  • Paid Advertising: Plan and implement paid TikTok advertising campaigns, optimizing for maximum engagement and ROI. Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and report on the performance of TikTok content and campaigns, utilizing data to inform future strategies.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of TikTok trends and best practices, incorporating innovative ideas and tools into our strategy to keep our content fresh and engaging.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify.
  • English proficient (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension)
  • Computer savvy; proficient with Microsoft Office
Education/Experience/License Requirements:
  • Minimum of at least one year of experience managing TikTok accounts for brands or organizations, with a proven track record of growing followers and increasing engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience with both organic content creation and paid advertising on TikTok.
  • Strong understanding of TikTok's unique platform dynamics, including algorithm, trends, and user behavior.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt messages for a TikTok audience.
  • Creativity and a keen eye for visual storytelling, proficient in video editing and content creation tools relevant to TikTok.
  • Experience in influencer partnership management, from identification to collaboration.
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to interpret social media metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
Sensory Requirements: Should have working use of hearing and vision with or without the use of corrective lenses/hearing aids to be able to read paperwork, work on a computer screen for an extended period of time, and frequently speak on the phone.
Environmental: N/A - indoor office environment
Language Skills: English proficiency required (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension). Knowledge of an additional language(s) is a plus!
Mathematical Skills: Basic arithmetic and algebra
Reasoning Ability: Solid understanding of branding, performance creative, and paid media strategies and tactics; excellent planning and problem-solving skills with limited resources; ability to effectively prioritize and project manage multiple assignments at any given time. Ability to use judgement to make important decisions.
