Company Overview: MixMate is a distinguished brand owned by Shark Tank entrepreneur Chico Guerra, on the rise and expanding rapidly. We create innovative electric shaker bottles with an integrated whisk and battery that can mix any powdered goods, whether that's protein, greens, electrolytes, coffee powder, baby formula, you name it! We recently launched our brand on TikTok, selling our products and driving traffic through TikTok content. We believe businesses, big and small alike, have an obligation to give back to their communities. That's why we decided to donate a portion of our proceeds to help aspiring entrepreneurs in need and give a percentage of our profits to entrepreneurs who haven’t had their “chance” across the country.

Position Overview: We are in search of a college student with high energy, who is a natural on camera, and is either a dedicated Content Creator or aspires to be one, with a strong understanding of short-form platforms. You will be responsible for creating and editing TikTok videos for our brand page to sell our Electric Shaker Bottle MixMate while at the same time creating entertaining content. These skits are very well performed — we believe you can utilize your friends to create entertaining and exciting skits like the videos shown! You must have a strong understanding of vertical video production and be proficient in editing software such as CapCut. You will be working remotely in either Corvallis, Salem, or Eugene, creating these videos for MixMate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Script, record, and edit 7-10 videos per week for our page.
• Upload 7-10 videos per week through the assigned TikTok account we provide.
• Watch TikTok content similar to the examples we provided.
• Test new styles of content every week to really connect with the audience, whether it's skits, "street interviews" at the gym, or on-campus.
• Understand the current environment on TikTok and how to leverage current trends in video advertisements.
• Assemble and edit video footage to create captivating, watch-time-focused videos.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest short-form trends to remain brand relevant while also looking for opportunities to create new trends.

Qualifications:

• Comfortable on camera (or willing to become comfortable), able to talk directly to the camera, and use your voice to create exciting and engaging content.
• Coachable, with an eagerness to learn and grow in this space.
• A passion for fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
• Enthusiastic about digital storytelling and creating content on popular social platforms.
• Deep understanding of digital trends and editing principles.
• Basic video editing skills.
• Basic knowledge of filming techniques, cameras, lighting, and audio.
• An interest in marketing, advertising, and content creation.
• A pioneering creative spirit that can foster new ideas and isn’t afraid to try new things.
