Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Fabricator Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Fabricator Technician at Gomobile Tires USA, you will play a pivotal role in the fabrication, assembly, and customization of various vehicle components. Your craftsmanship and attention to detail will contribute significantly to the production of high-quality vehicles that exceed industry standards.
Responsibilities:
Fabrication and Assembly: Construct, assemble, and modify vehicle components and structures according to specifications and engineering drawings.
Aluminum Welding: Must be proficient in aluminum and steel welding, and other metals.
Customization: Collaborate with design and engineering teams to create customized vehicle parts, ensuring functionality, durability, and aesthetic appeal.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections to ensure all fabricated components meet quality standards and adhere to safety regulations.
Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues, proposing innovative solutions to enhance production efficiency and quality.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of fabrication processes, materials used, and modifications made for future reference and improvement.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and handling materials to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in fabrication, metalworking, and TIG welding or a related field within the automotive industry.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using fabrication tools and machinery such as aluminum welders, grinders cutting torches.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of vehicle assembly, fabrication techniques, and materials used in automotive construction.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure precision in fabrication and assembly processes.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and innovate solutions for fabrication challenges.
Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational or technical training in fabrication or a related field is a plus.
