Welder/Fabricator:
The Welder/Fabricator utilizes various machines and several processes to weld aluminum, stainless steel and bronze as directed by blueprints.
Common tasks and Responsibilities:
• Works safely, following all procedures and utilizes proper health & safety equipment.
• Read prints and drawings.
• Weld and/or fit products including but not limited to ornamental railings, floating stairs, pipe railings and French doors, using TIG welding process.
• Responsible for tools and equipment in his/her work area.
• Responsible for recording time on the job he/she is working on.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Cut, grind, clean and polish aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and bronze
• Receive & sort materials.
•May occasionally assist with installs.
• Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the majority of the employee’s work area is indoors. The employee will be regularly exposed to weld smoke/fumes, dust and moderate noise levels, with occasional high noise levels.
Requirements:
Must supply own hand tools.
Must have ability to get to work facility on time.
Must have a good work ethic.
Work Hours:
Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:00pm.
MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH ALUMINUM
